Charter members, are the original members of Saint Michael's Fire and Rescue. They are alumni members who founded the department in its earliest years.

HONORARY MEMBERS

An honorary member is an individual who in the past has shown great concern for the department and in recognition of his/her contribution is awarded honorary membership.
An alumni member is an individual who has graduated or left Saint Michael’s College in good standing and continues to run duty with their respective unit, maintaining an active status.
Associate members most often wish to be a part of the department but do not actively participate in firefighting or patient care. These members are instrumental in providing administrative and/or technical support.

IN AN EMERGENCY

In the event of an emergency, remain calm. Call 911 and be ready to provide a few important pieces of information:
  •  The address of the emergency.
  •  Exactly what happened.
  •  How many people are hurt.

Follow all of the dispatcher's instructions, and do not hang up until you have been told to do so.
