Saint Michael's Fire and Rescue

The Fire and Rescue Experience

Saint Michael’s College Fire and Rescue is an independent volunteer student run organization. In addition to our student's day to day academic responsibilities, they have the opportunity to serve the community through fire protection and emergency medical treatment. Our crews mainly respond to in the area of Vermont’s most populated Chittenden County, including the City of Winooski, the Town of Colchester, as well as calls to campus. With the dedication and support of Saint Michael’s students, alumni, and staff volunteers, we continue to serve 24 hours a day, year round, since 1969.

Saint Michael's Fire and Rescue is dedicated to providing the highest quality professional fire and emergency medical services and education for the campus and communities in which we serve. Through active promotion of volunteerism and experiential learning, Saint Michael's Fire and Rescue encourages positive personal and professional growth to all members while meeting essential community needs.

Saint Michael's Fire and Rescue is proudly staffed and managed by members of the Saint Michael's College community.
